A GLIMPSE OF HOPE

tHE LATesT VISIT TO pITCHES yesterday is a time of hope though just a glimpse.
But still it brings hope to the heart. Her limbs are softer now comparing before. Thanks to the therapist.I can see joy and hope in the face of Pitches mom with the little improvement that she see in her child.

With the amount that was raised, Pitches will be able to stay longer in the hospital to receive the necessary support for her.

Lets continue to pray for God's miracle though we are also open to let her "go home" if God wills so.

Thank you once again for contributing to this journney of life

You have given a part of you

A special thanks to all of you in Singapore who have donated for Pitches and to Mr and Mrs Rahayel. Its such an encouragement to us to keep on believing that there is such goodness and love in human hearts. It also encourages us to continue giving our selves to others because of your giving of self and support.

With the money that was raised, Pithches parents will be able to pay their hospital bill. We can also do some repair to thier small house to accomodate Pitches safer and better.also to keep on supporting her in her daily life support.

Please let us keep them in our prayers. We are entrusting Pitches to the Lord's hand but also bargaining still to God if He can give Pitches one more chance to live. The Lord's will be done.

Once again, A BIG THANK YOU to all of you.God bless you a hundredfold!!

PEOPLE LOVES PEOPLE

FRIENDS,
Thank you for your love and concern for Pitches. Its very encouraging for us to know that many people care for people. For those who are supporting with the financial need, God bless you a hundred fold. For those who are saying their prayer for her,may God grant you your heart's deepest desire.

Our prayer is that God will glorify Himself through Pitches life. That many will come to believe in His power to save life. That many will come to know that when every hope is lost, there is Someone who can give hope.

Pitches in the hospital Posted by Hello

Monday, April 11, 2005

This is Pitches, once a lively vibrant little soul, now reduced to a vegetative stage. Posted by Hello

Pitches is a girl of 12 who is very ill. She was diagnosed to have SUBACUTE INFARCT, LEFT BASAL GANGLIA PROBABLY SECONDARY TO VASCULITIS VS EMBOLIC/SEPTIC INFARCT. A case which according to the doctor is hopeless. Pitches comes from a very poor family living in one of the slums here in Manila, Philippines. Her parents has no stable job with seven siblings who are all young.

Due to extreme poverty, her family were not able to afford bringing her to a specialist. Thank God for some individual and to CHD who contributed so that she can undergo MRI. At this moment Pitches is in one of the cheapest hospital here in Manila.

I’ve known Pitches for four years. She was attending our Saturday catechism class.
Last year she did not attend for some months and when I asked about her they said she is having weakness on her upper and lower extremities. When I visited her in their house, she can not stand anymore but at least can respond with her eyes and arms. Her condition regressed so fast that in a short period of time she became very ill.

The doctor already concluded that she has no hope. But we will keep on hoping until her last breath. We believe that God can do miracles if He wills. Though we also believe that God honors people’s generosity, that He can build on the little that we give to do mighty things…to do miracles. But even if God will decide to take her home, we will continue to support her and prolong her life to the maximum. Though we admit that our maximum is still very limited but if there are people who will care, our maximum will be more. We need people! We need YOU to journey with us in this struggle and survival of this precious life.

We remember our dear late Pope John Paul II fighting for life. Respecting and reverencing a person’s every single breath. This is what we want to do. To keep on hoping and reverencing Pitches life till her last breath.

For now, Pitches needs milk, antibiotics, IVs and comfortable place to stay. Her family can not afford financial demand. They need YOUR HELP! We also ask you to pray for her.

WILL YOU JOIN US!!
